He also directed an opera music video featuring soprano Imogen-Faith Malfitano, demonstrating his ambition to explore and expand artistic mediums beyond traditional cinema.
In 2023, Parish wrote, directed, and produced the short film Worm, premiering at Cinequest, and programmed for Fantastic Film Festival Australia. His second feature, Salt Along the Tongue, a supernatural drama and semi-finalist in Francis Ford Coppolaβs Zoetrope screenplay competition, is currently touring festivals including SXSW Sydney, Fantaspoa (Latin Americaβs largest genre fest), Fantastic Film Festival Australia, and Fright Fest (UKβs largest genre fest). The film secured North American distribution and international sales with Yellow Veil Pictures.
Building on this momentum, Parish is developing two European-set features: The Hous Man of Bellwick, a body horror film, and Lipstick Cockroach, a psychological thriller.
He holds a Foundation Diploma and Bachelor of Arts in Screen from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and is the founder of Fantasma Picture House.
